Hotel looks a little different when you enter, reception is on the first floor, it is an old building and you do get that vintage smell when you walk in, bathrooms are the opposite to your vintage room and look a lot brighter.
Staff were friendly, breakfast was a buffet, hotel is a good area, close to the old town, 35min walk to the top of the hill if you fancy it, 5 min walk to the Metro.

Nice local ingredients for breakfast. Lovely croissants and cheeses and yoghurt and pastries. Cook your own softboiled eggs! Staff pleasant and helpful. Rooms clean and bright.
Heating /ac system was tricky. Modern, clean bathroom. Nice are of town. Close to Bellecouer!!

We enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The location was amazing. Easy to get to from the airport by train and metro/subway. Staff were very helpful in getting us settled and giving us general information.

Great location.
Easy check-in and checkout.
Ladies at front desk were fantastic

Property was great. Amazing staff. Beautiful and comfortable bathrooms and quiet rooms. In a great area easy to walk everywhere. I got a smaller room than I booked and paid but did not notice till the end of my short stay. I did not try to obtain compensation so I can’t necessarily fault property.

Only stayed one night
Was in the perfect location for all the old town attractions
Room was very clean
Bathroom had been renovated and was clean
Perfect for a short stay.

Fabulous location, helpful English speaking staff and superb bathroom. We will hopefully be back

Highly recommended. Good location. Friendly staff.

This is a wonderful boutique hotel in an absolutely outstanding location in Lyon. It couldnt be more centrally located, in a posh neighborhood, and near a metro stop.
All the staff were super helpful and lovely. Each room has a distinct character, and quirky charm.

We enjoyed very much our 2 days stay at the Hôtel des Célestins, very well situated between the lovely Place des Celestins, the river Saone and place Bellecour (Metro) , pedestrians street . Very quiet. Friendly staff.
Old building with all the confort . Good breakfast included .
