In a competitive world in a city full of choices was I ever glad I chose this property!! From the time I walked in to being able to name the big bear (that didnt have one) Rufus. To finally finding my reservation Zina, with the million dollar smile, to Daniel with the quick wit and laugh, they made me feeling more than welcome. I told them to always remember Wyoming and I was so happy to use this hotel as the homemade in Union Square!! Steps away from Powell BART station and cable car station...dont over search, Zina and Daniel will take great care of u, ohhh yes Juniper too, even in backpack storage!!! Remember the Bison flip in Yellowstone!!! Thanks for the memories!!!

Be aware that the hotel is located in a very busy area surrounded by one way streets. Even my experienced Uber drivers had great difficulty getting me to the hotel and picking me up. For comparison, the only similar traffic congestion Ive encountered was in New York City.

The hotel is easy to spot and the lobby is nice and feels higher-end.

I had a 2 twin room and it was TINY. Two adults would likely find it difficult to stay for any length of time as theres no freedom of movement due to the tight space. The bathroom was surprisingly large in comparison to the room with a good-sized shower. The air conditioner was pretty effective but very loud - earplugs are a must.

For my room, my largest concern was that the window faced out to what seemed to be a limited access roof "alley" and it did not seem that there would be a way to escape if there were an emergency and exit through the door was not possible.

Im not certain whether I would stay again, but I wouldnt make a blanket recommendation against doing so, either.
