Great option when travelling to LA. We were down for the Anime Con in DTLA, and when the traffic relaxed for the World Cup, we were able to go from the hotel to the Convention Center in only 15 minutes. The area around the hotel is much safer and cleaner than DTLA as well. Enjoyed our stay!

Nice people nice staff the hotel is old and smell old is cleaner but is old but the people is so nice

The parking garage is convenient and safe

The friendliest hotel staff I’ve encountered. Hotel was clean and quiet. Water pressure and temperature were perfect. Bidets in the bathroom were incredible. Free breakfast was so good. 10/10 would recommend. I only want to stay in Japanese hotels from now on thanks to this place.

This hotel is clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was just ok, but got us started for the day.

One of the cleanest I’ve been in. Like how quiet it is. Loved the Japanese breakfast.

Clean room

Clean and easy parking. We like the japanese breakfast hotel provided and grocery store across the street.

Big surprise at how nice the place was. Each staff member we encountered was beyond cordial and helpful. Enjoyed the American breakfast (didnt try the Japanese, but it looked interesting, too) and the readily available coffee in the lobby. Lots of dining options in a very walkable distance was also a nice plus. Wed stay here again whenever were in the L.A. area.

My stay was lovely as expected: this was my second visit to New Gardena Hotel in a month.
The restaurant is especially good with tasty authentic Japanese cuisine, friend service, and good hours.
The room was clean and fully stacked and they even had a cot for an extra visitor who stayed the last night.
