The only thing that could have made our stay even better would have been a turndown service. We had recently stayed at the W Sentosa Cove and had forgotten how much those small touches enhance the overall experience.

Each evening, they would prepare the room by turning down the bed, placing slippers beside it, leaving a jug of water on the bedside table, and even providing a small pillow mist spray. These are minor details, but they create a real sense of luxury and care.

If Pan Pacific Orchard offered a similar turndown service, I genuinely would have given them a sixth star if that were possible.

Overall, the hotel was okay, but it did not meet our expectations. On social media, especially Instagram and TikTok, it looks far more impressive than it actually is. In reality, it feels like a fairly standard hotel with a few visually appealing spots.

Several aspects affected our stay negatively. The bed was not very comfortable, and the pillows seemed not properly refreshed, as they had an unpleasant smell. The hotel was also very noisy – you could hear almost everything from neighboring rooms and the corridor.

The air conditioning was constantly loud, and even during the night there were disturbances due to repairs and vacuum cleaning, which is not acceptable for this price range.

We also paid extra for Club access, expecting a quieter and more premium experience. However, there were frequent events and parties in that area, making it loud and uncomfortable. The breakfast buffet did not meet expectations, and on one occasion we could not even get a table, without any solution offered.

The location was very good, which we appreciated.

Overall, the price-performance ratio did not feel justified, and we would not choose this hotel again.

If you’re staying at the Pan Pacific Orchard, you absolutely have to book the Beach Terrace pool swim-out room. Having direct access to the water right from the room was a total game-changer and made the entire stay feel like a private tropical getaway in the middle of a bustling city. Being able to step directly into the pool from my own terrace was incredible.

You’re right in the heart of Orchard Road, so the best shopping and dining are literally steps away, yet the room feels like a quiet sanctuary.

The staff was attentive and the entire property felt fresh and high-end. If you want a resort-style experience without leaving the city center, this is the spot. I’d go back in a heartbeat just for that pool access.
