They dont receive packages for their guests. There is no vending machine. The absolute worst part of this property is their complete lack of accountability for lost items. I left my coat in the room, and every time I tried to contact them, I was aggressively screened and sent straight to voicemail. Out of 11 calls, only one was ever answered. The woman on the line was incredibly rude, refused to help, and flat-out denied that my coat was even there. I am 100% certain it was left at the hotel because I didnt wear it once during the rest of my vacation. I am giving this place the lowest possible rating solely because of their abysmal attitude and pathetic customer service.

I honestly LOVED this hotel. Its gorgeous and so old Hollywood. The room was huge with vaulted ceilings and my windows looked straight out to the Hollywood sign. The king size bed was massive and so comfortable. Very clean. The lobby smells so good and the little restaurant attached was adorable. I will definitely be staying here again. Great location. Very walkable and fairly quiet at night. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Id give this place a 10/10 especially if you are wanting golden age old Hollywood vibes.

I booked this for our daughter, as her flight was changed to a late arrival (midnight) and she accepted a last-minute project freelance job in LA. So we were scrambling to find a decently priced 1st night for her, near the production studio.

The reviews of this place were decent & the front desk gentleman was sweet & helpful when I called to notify them that our daughter would be checking in late/possibly after midnight.

Unfortunatley, after just a few hours sleep - she was trying to get ready to depart early AM, and the electric was not working anywhere in the guest room. She flipped all the switches in every room, hit the re-set buttons where visible, but all lights were out & she couldnt plug in to do her hair (and she needed to walk into a professional set). She couldnt rouse anyone at the front desk to help her.

She travels to LA often, and works in this area often. We will likely give this hotel another try, bc it was cute & so convenient (and she said she slept surprisingly well, given that the pillows were super small - smaller than standard pillows!)

Thx, L.

This hotel is a true gem! We felt like a piece of old Hollywood glamour has been preserved. It has been sympathetically updated, making it comfortable, yet retaining the charm of yesteryear. The Edmon bar is a must-experience part of the hotel. The art-deco interior is delightful. The bartenders are professional and passionate in their mixology. Take advantage of Happy Hour for best prices. The reception staff are great with recommendations. Take our advice and leave your vehicle parked—use taxi or Uber to get where you need to go. We even braved the transit system to get to Santa Monica!
