One of the best parts of our stay was when we stepped off the elevator onto our floor. Noridel, from Housekeeping, was in the hallway. The way she greeted us made us feel so special and welcome.

Throughout our stay, she took excellent care of us. We’ve been in many, many hotels, and Noridel’s treatment of us, and welcoming us was above all others.

I looked forward every day to seeing her in the hall.

Thanks Noridel!!

Staff was so friendly and helpful.
Great location in Waikiki.
We had breakfast at the hideout one morning and was the only thing that was just ok.
Also, the pool didn’t get much sun when we were there and is a bit small but overall, loved the hotel and its location.

We stayed for 6 nights in a first-floor, poolside room.

Positives:

* The location was excellent and very convenient for getting around.
* Accessibility throughout the property was great.
* The gym was clean and well maintained.

Areas for improvement:

* The room had very poor soundproofing. We could hear loud noises, parties, and thumping from neighboring rooms, gym, and nearby restaurant throughout the night, which made it difficult to get restful sleep.
* Although we specifically booked a poolside room, the pool deck was under construction during our stay, completely obstructing the pool view. When we raised this concern with reception, she was unwilling to offer any accommodation or alternative solution.
* The room felt quite dark. There is one ceiling light near the entrance.

Overall, the hotel has a great location and decent facilities, but the noise issues and lack of communication regarding the construction significantly impacted our experience.

Very clean, comfy bed, nice themed room, unlimited seltzer and coffee, delicious breakfast!

All good. Nice. Good room. Comfortable. Quiet. Onsite pool and bar - very nice.

Lots of other places to eat nearby but the food at the laylow is exceptionally good. The coffee is amazing.

Yes! Demi made sure our room was extra clean and left us a nice note! Thank you Demi!

I don’t think we had the room we chose on the app. Room smelled like a restaurant an viewed an alley. Won’t be back.

Room had a balcony, as promised, but it was on a dark back alley up against a parking garage, with a kitchen exhaust fan under it that let out greasy smoke - not usable, and that felt like a rip off. I regretted choosing the Laylow and won’t go back.
