We had high expectations of this place but unfortunately we were disappointed by very uncomfortable beds. They changed our room the next day which only made the matter worst as the room was not thoroughly cleaned we got bitten in the bed of dust mites of some sort.

The management took zero responsibility and we received no compensation after a ruined hotel experience and last days of holiday. Once back at home I contacted Hotels.com which tried to get me a compensation from Marriott but the hotel still refused to take responsibility. They cleaned the room the next day when we complained and at checkout I asked for a compensation as we were exhausted of lack of sleep and agitated from the bites. Sheraton front office manager said they would first do an “investigation” for bedbugs. Of course there wouldn’t be any sign of insects as they had already cleaned the room at that point.

We all got sick by a guest who walked around the buffet coughing and there was no personnel who cleaned the buffet area so germs were quickly spread. This is a high trafficked hotel with lots of pit stops for travellers and aircrew.

The pool area was constantly occupied by guests who put their towels on the chair but not using it. Basically the kids pool area was full of guests just sunbathing. Couldn’t understand why they would not be using the other pool area that are more suitable for adults.

All in all I really discourage people to stay at this hotel.
