After doing extensive research to find a good but inexpensive hotel, I booked this room for three nights while we visited Disneyland for two days. We were happy with our stay since we only needed a place to crash at night. Our family of six spends open-to-close days at the Disney parks, so we dont need a fancy hotel. Wouldve been nice to have breakfast and a shuttle included? Yes, but wed rather save our money for other things and stay somewhere basic but clean.

Solara Inn hotel was clean and seems like recently renrg we needed our three-day stay, including a washer and dryer. There is a small pool, but we didnt use it. We got the room with fridge and microwave.

There is no complimentary breakfast, but you can ask for a "to-go" bag, which included a Danish, a muffin, and a granola bar. That was actually a nice surprise.

As for the room, the beds were very clean, the towels were in good condition, and the room itself seemed clean with no major issues. I didnt see a single bug during our stay. The reviews were accurate about the cleanliness of the rooms. There was also plenty of parking. Since our room was on the back side of the hotel, we were even able to watch the Disneyland fireworks from outside our door the evening we arrived.

To get to Disneyland in the morning, we took City Bus Route 42, which runs every 20 minutes and costs $2 per person. On the way back, we took an Uber that cost $14 for all six of us. It was easy, convenient, and well worth the savings.

I’m gonna feel nitpicky because for the price that I paid to stay here I don’t feel like I would’ve received anything better in the area. This location is close to all of the local amenities in Anaheim at a third of the cost. The rooms are relatively clean only minor problems with the bathroom housekeeping was super nice and friendly. The bed was clean and free of any pests or anything of that nature was surprised to see electronic bedbug monitoring system in rooms, really the only major complaints that I had with the grout in the bathroom was coming up leading to the shower to minors flood the bathroom and our room was next to housekeeping so every morning at 7 AM. We listen to people argue or shout at each other while rolling multiple large carts out past our door. I guess there’s no need to set an alarm so I shouldn’t complain too much.

The hotel was super clean and comfortable. Reason it wasn’t 5 stars, and could be my fault, I thought “breakfast was included”. Didn’t realize it wasn’t a hot breakfast, it was a to go bag of a muffin and granola bar. Also, not every room has a fridge. If you’re in a standard room, there’s no fridge or microwave. Again, I should have read the details better. I felt like I was saving a lot of money because of free parking and breakfast included. We still had to get breakfast, and all the snacks we drove with went bad because of no fridge.
