Amazing and thoughtful staff - literally every single person I encountered was friendly and professional (and always helpful). Great location - beautiful park and museum right across the street, and walking distance to lots of great restaurants and my favorite indie bookstore in Taichung. Highly recommended

It is ok overall.
Will be back later.

My stay at The Place hotel was very good. I stayed for 8 nights and it was very pleasant. The staff was efficient and friendly and the hotel location was central to everything I needed. I liked the breakfast they provided each day.

Clean

Nice n clean hotel, good location too.

“The Place” is a chain hotel. I’ve had a very good experience with their affiliate in Taipei. This one in Taichung didn’t fail me either.

It’s about 5 years new (it’s 12/2024 now), clean, friendly, helpful, convenient, decent variety breakfast, and, so far, the only place who has contoured memory foam pillows upon request and/or availability.

Btw, I’ve been a Marriott resort member for 20 years. FYI.

Limited transport is the norm in Taichung.2 reasons I didn’t like is the lack of gym facilities and purely just cardio machines.Another reason is I found a small cockroach while showering.Otherwise the hotel room size and design are not bad.

Friendly , good service n clean room

Good and silent.
