We rented a three-bedroom villa, and the luxury of having a private pool was one of the highlights of our stay. Unfortunately, the pool’s cleaning system was not functioning properly, so the water became dirty and unpleasant after a few days. The issue was repaired after we complained, but given that staff visited the villa several times each day, it was disappointing that the problem was not identified earlier.

The overall cleanliness of the villa was also below expectations for a property of this standard.

Breakfast was quite chaotic. The staff struggled to keep tables clean, replenish food, and maintain the coffee machine. While the breakfast selection itself was good, the room service food was bland and overpriced. I would recommend dining elsewhere whenever possible.

Another disappointment was that there was ongoing construction work on the beach during our stay. This was clearly not the resorts fault but the hotel did not inform us about this in advance, despite clearly being aware of it before our arrival. Had we been notified before the cancellation deadline passed, we would have had the opportunity to reconsider our booking.

We stayed in a 4-room villa for 4 nights (about
500 USD per night) and the experience was very disappointing.

We arrived around 14:30 and were told to wait until the official check-in at 15:00, which was fine. But at 15:00 the villa was still not ready, with no estimated time and no complimentary gesture. By 15:30, after I asked again, they then informed us only the first floor was ready, so we went there as my elderly family members needed a nap.

The staff who showed us the first floor stayed in the room clearly waiting for a tip and did not leave for several minutes until we gave one. Around 16:00, when the cleaning staff finished the second floor, they also came downstairs and again waited in the room for a tip. This tipping pressure happened every day — if we did not tip immediately, staff would stand there for several minutes and not leave. I understand tipping is part of their income, but this behavior created a lot of stress and made us want to avoid staff rather than enjoy the resort.

Transportation was another major issue. The hotel advertises a shuttle bus, but it has only about 14 seats and runs 6 times a day. During our stay, we managed to reserve seats only once. The resort is about 30 minutes from Hoi An city center and in a remote area, making it hard to get a Grab; even when we did, we usually waited around 15 minutes for the car.

Overall, for the price we paid, this stay was very unpleasant. there are many other options that likely offer better value.

We had a horrible experience at this hotel. While the overall property itself is great, the service at their restaurants was incredibly slow, and the food and beverage team was extremely disrespectful towards us.

The management went out of their way to try and make it up to us by providing us with s complementary in-villa BBQ (which we thoroughly appreciated), but unfortunately the negative device experience continued and we had to often wait up to 1.5 to 2 hours for our food to arrive, for a basic order even.

We also found a spider in our glass, and another glass had broken glass pieces in there - which is extremely disappointing from a basic safety and hygiene perspective.

In addition to the above, the air conditioning in one of our rooms was not working throughout our 5 day stay - in spite of numerous attempts and us being patient, this never got resolved, which is quite frustrating given how much we paid for this trip.

Overall our family was quite disappointed with our experience at this hotel and do not see this as a hotel that is set up to set up to accommodate families.
