An extremely uncomfortable hotel experience

Unfortunately, our stay at Marriott in Bangkok was a very unpleasant experience.

The room was positioned terribly. Just about two meters from our window, there was a company/office area where people were constantly sitting and eating, with a direct view straight into our room. It felt extremely uncomfortable and invasive. In order to have any privacy at all, we had to keep the curtains closed the entire time. As a result, the room felt more like a bunker than a hotel room.

On top of that, the air conditioning was incredibly disruptive. Even though we set the AC fan to the lowest level, the noise was so loud that we could barely hear each other speak. The constant sound was also exhausting and made it very difficult to relax.

A hotel room should be a place where you can rest, feel comfortable, and have a basic sense of privacy. In this case, we had none of that.

All in all, this was a deeply uncomfortable and disappointing experience — not at all what one would expect from Marriott.
