The hotel is an older hotel that is very well kept and clean. The staff is excellent and the breakfast buffet is very good with many selections including protein.
The hotel goes out of its way to be helpful, offering beach towels and beach toys on loan - just pick them up and drop them offer on an honor system.
The location is quite good - a very short walk to the beach and a 5 minute walk to Target for everything that you forgot. Most of the top restaurants and shopping is a short walk - it’s a perfect place to stay!

This hotel is 3 blocks from the beach, close to shops, restaurants and public transportation. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the amenities are in good condition. The common area has a very welcoming and pleasant living room feel. The room and bathroom are relatively small but serviceable. One constructive suggestion I have is to make the vacuuming of the room a daily routine given the proximity to the sand. Also, the shelves of the desk were full of dust and had not been dusted in a very long time. All in all this is a nice hotel that I plan to visit again in the future.

Helpful & nice staff, rooms were made daily, great beach gear such as beach chairs, towels, bags & beach mats, daily basic breakfast with fresh fruits, great filtered water dispenser ,small expensive valet parking , small fridge in the rooms, only 5 min away from the beach, plenty of great food truck and great food around the area, close walking to international marketplace

Older building, Ac units were really loud, bed mattress was non supportive and sank in, noise from the street was loud
Overall a great place to stay with wonderful staff

We loved our stay at Hotel Vive. The desk personnel were always friendly and helpful. The Valets were attentive and polite. We never waited long for our vehicle. The breakfast was varied and plentiful. Each day were different selections. There were always cold beverages and coffee available. The hotel offers beach amenities like chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. The hotel location is perfect if you are taking a tour, looking to shop, or wanting to find a good restaurant. We would stay here again if returning to Oahu.
