The resort has some great features, especially the beautiful pools and the excellent check-in experience. The welcome was warm and made a great first impression.

Unfortunately, the evenings were disappointing. There was very little nightlife, no real bar atmosphere, and almost everything closed by 9:00 p.m., which made the resort feel quiet much too early. The drinks at the bar were also below expectations, and the bartenders and bar staff didn’t seem particularly engaged or enthusiastic, which affected the overall experience.

The property itself is lovely, but extending the evening offerings and improving the bar service would make a big difference.

Overall, the stay was good. My wife is disabled so we had a wheelchair accessible room. This was our last big trip together as she has a terminal brain tumor. A couple of suggestions to make things easier for disabled people:
1. The door to the room is heavy and theres no way to prop it open to get in with the chair. 2. The bed was really high and I had to help wife get into bed every single time she needed to get into bed. 3. The hounds are difficult to navigate in a wheelchair. Ran into stairs around every corner and had to use the roadway several times.
Also, we came for breakfast at the Holoholo grill the first morning. I ordered the eggs Benedict and ate half of it before noticing how uncooked the egg was. It was still clear on the inside. I didnt want to get sick so I told them that I was done with it. They gave me $5 off the bill. I would have been super upset if I ended up getting sick and they hadnt even discounted the entre completely. This experience lead us to find other options nearby for food rather that just going to the grill.
