Take a closer look at wild animals with Mt Fuji in the background!

  • Animal Appreciation

Fuji Safari Park is located on the foot of Mt. Fuji. The park has two zones, Safari Zone and Animal-Petting Zone.

In Safari Zone, visitors can take a 50 minute drive through 7 different areas for bears, lions, cheetahs, elephants, herbivorous animals and mountainous herbivores from across the world. They are kept living in a natural environment without a cage. You can enjoy seeing animals in more natural habitats.

To drive through the Safari Zone, visitors can choose a vehicle from their own private car (50 minutes), Jungle Bus (1,300 yen per person, 50 minutes), Special Jungle Bus (1,500 yen per person, 70 minutes) or Safari Navigation Car (5,000 yen per car, 60 minutes). There is also a walking course with a guide, the Adventure Tour (2,500 yen per person, 2.5km, 2 hours & 30 minutes). If you choose Jungle Bus or Safari Navigation Car, you can enjoy feeding animals directly, for instance, through a caged window vehicle listening to the guide's explanation. Some Night Safari courses are available in the evening.

Here, in Fuji Safari Park, about 30 species of animals can be seen with Mt. Fuji behind them, which is a special and spectacular view. (View points for Mt. Fuji:

In the Animal-Petting Zone, visitors enjoy petting and feeding small animals including rabbits, monkeys, squirrels, wallabies, kangaroos, alpacas, hedgehogs, cats, dogs and others.

The park always offers various events and information, for instance, new-born babies’ information. There are some restaurants, cafés, and souvenir shops.
