The best part was the staff. They are very friendly and service minded and we felt very welcome. They will assist you with bookings, questions and more.

We got a room situated far away from the reception which was great as it was very peaceful and quiet.

The room was nice and functional for a family of three. The patio / terrace in front provided extra space and we spent quite some time there enjoying the garden view.

The pool is not heated, which made it too cold for us, but it must be great in the other seasons where the temperatures are higher.

The resort is full of interesting things to do, see and explore and there are plenty of restaurants and cafes to visit. We ate several times at the restaurant in the Desert Hotel and it was great value for the money.

To give the hotel 5 stars we would have loved to have had an extra chair in the patio already at arrival, a better guidance on which trips to choose before arrival and that little extra service, that you would expect from a 5 star hotel.

We loved staying here! The rooms were a nice size and the beds were so comfy. We enjoyed the pool and the grassy space and everything we needed was in easy walking distance.

Small room, lack of amenities, no coffee maker, old furniture, extreme príde.

Our stay was very good. However as we had booked both sunrise tours, we felt it necessary to bring food with us. So we purchased a toaster, disposable plates and cutlery, milk, bread, cereal etc for breakfast and brought it with us on the transfer bus from ASP. The cost of the things we brought was actually cheaper than one $50.00 breakfast at the hotel which we couldn’t have anyway as the bus picks up the sunrise tour guests at 05:55, long before the dining room opens for breakfast.

Staying in adjoining rooms was so helpful in assisting my daughter and grand-daughter (5) yrs). Both had birthdays during our stay and we all had a really lovely time. Our rooms were quiet and overlooked the pool, beautiful weather though too cold for a swim. The restaurant staff were helpful and we were able to join two tours, one evening and the other to see the sun rise. Will look forward to visiting again and will watch with interest to see if new owners make any changes. Thank you to all staff members.

The room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable and good sized bathroom. We definitely would stay there again.

Clean room; however, outdated. The staff was great and the location is ideal!

The patio area, reason i chose this motel had cigarettes butts in the area and smelt bad. Needed tlc.

Our room is a bit further away from the main lobby, although there is a walkway to the room, but some are covered and some are not, so it is not ideal and inconvenient when rained. We had be warned of inserts and bugs in Uluru. However we did not expect we get cockroach, bugs and centipede in our room!
Overall the Uluru trip was excellent , especially the Sunset Journey experience , Uluru-Kata Tjuta national park tour and the field of light.
The hotel provides a free shuttle bus service to the township and other resorts. We will definitely visit Uluru again but it will be in Winter season.

Basic from A to Z.
Its all about the location here and good enough parking.
