I recently stayed here mostly for the location to my needs but I did like the look of the balcony and the views posted...more on that later.
The Staff were all excellent, except one man who yelled at me while I was looking around the pool/gym level. I obviously was in an area I wasnt meant to be in but, I suspect approaching me quietly rather than yelling at me in front of other guests may, have been a more professional way to go about it.
The area is very convenient to BTS station Sathorn and Sathorn Pier.... 5 minutes walk.
The room was big so no issue with the size, bathroom was great with very nice shower and facilities.
The furniture in general was looking a little worn and dated so probably ready for a freshen up soon. Bed was quite comfortable which was a great comfort as sometimes the beds in Thailand can be a little on the hard side for western travellers.
My big issue was with the Balcony. You only get images of a beautiful setting with greenery and a table and chairs to to sit and relax late in the day with a nice drink....Im not sure these actually exist. I mentioned this to other guests who all had similar experiences and, one told me he has stayed at the hotel a few times and thinks these pics are of a now closed section of the hotel. In any case, you get a very different Balcony which has no outdoor furniture and you would need to stand up anyway to view the river (river view room)....the wall of the balcony is probably 4ft high.

Centrepoint Silom is very well situated …train and ferry just a few minutes walk away

A short ferry ride to Icon Siam and many other attractions located off the Chao Phraya River

Accessible to good food, necessities (Top supermarket) and transport
For those who need their fast food - McDonald and KFC is just downstairs

Re: the hotel itself

Two lifts is not sufficient. Long waits and overcrowdeding at peak times

One of the room I was in 2015/2007, the aircon was an Artic blast
Couldn’t turn down the temperature or the speed
The hotel AC crew came but couldn’t do anything
1 requested for an extra duvet and that was still insufficient
Throughout that night I had to switch off the AC and then switch back on when it got too warm to sleep…this happened 2/3 times through the night
The placement of the aircon must be changed

Room service crew on the 20th floor was great.

Better than the ones servicing 23 floor

Yes I stayed in 3 different rooms - all separate bookings

I recommend this hotel to all families as well as newbies to Bangkok. It is well placed close to boat tours, tuktuks, dining, public transport and shopping in Chinatown.
We lived in an apartment and had daily cleaning. Roomservice and cleaning was excellent. Its possible to book to seperate rooms with a shared door.
The staff is very friendly and professional and security is high.
The pool is open from 6am to 8pm and its a saltwater pool. The saltlevel and ph level is updated daily. There are towels by the pool.
The hotel provides breakfast buffet as an extra charge. We definitely enjoyed this. The gym is reasonable well equipped.

The hotel is located on top of a shopping mall. And right next to a big food market. A must go to is the rooftop restaurant Palate just across the street. Drinks and food are excellent.

The hotel is a non smoking hotel and there are two rather boring smoke stations placed at the street and on the 10th floor.

If I missed one thing during my stay. Then it was a bar where you could enjoy sunset or have a late night drink with a view. The surrounding area close at 10pm.
