Good location, great staff, excellent service.

Staff are very friendly. Room was nicely laid out with a balconey view to Cairns Harbour. Down Side: No WIFI unless you signed up for the Hilton program. No way to connect laptop to TV, denying access to streaming services. Excellent breakfast, but nothing in the room to make even a cup of soup. Access to a microwave was by means of going to reception with your food you want reheated and get them to reheat it for you. Only food after breakfast was by expensive meals via The Vine from 6.30pm till 8:30pm. Closest access to a food outlet was a 20 minute walk. No mention of a $200-250 holding deposit once you register with reception upon arrival. That was a big surprise.

Good hotel that is getting old and it shows.
Being a Hilton partner the service and standar is high.
Breakfast was a bit under the standard and the hotel is becoming old.
Would stay there again.

Easy to shop, go to many restaurants

Overall, a good hotel. Great location and easy access. A great view of the ocean from the room with a beautiful area with trees and a pond in the center of the hotel. Free parking on the street right in front of the hotel. Bed was comfortable with a nice big shower. We found a small live roach in the bathroom when we arrived. Front desk personnel were friendly and helpful but it took a long time for each transaction.

Ive yet to reach out to the hotel since I arrived in my country, the USA, on Jan 6th after checking out on the morning of Jan 6th.
Upon checkout late in the afternoon, I found several bed bug bites all over my body, including my neck, torso, arms, legs, and feet. They were extremely itchy and painful, and I needed medical attention once I got to my home country later that evening. They prescribed medication and painkillers. I did not have these bites when I checked in. Could you let me know what you will do about this?

It has been extremely agonizing throughout my flight, and even upon landing, I had to visit the ER with a high fever and extreme rash and get prescription painkillers. Ill never stay at a Hilton again. Ive reached out to hotel management and awaiting their next step on this. Very disappointed with Hilton

The housekeeping staff throw my pajamas on the carpet floor on the first day. And the cleaning staff entered my room with no knock or anything on the last day before I checked out. No or limited training on staff.

For the name and reputation, this one missed the mark. Maybe I had higher expectations with Hilton’s prestige - it was just ok.

Room service wasn’t great, lasagna was over cooked - really dry and hard, fish & chips - fish was like KFC. We saw a cockroach in the room. The two of the light switches weren’t working.
We liked beds - nice and comfortable.
Overall, it wasn’t what we expected, doesn’t worth the price. We were so disappointed, won’t come back.

The hilton hotel is very clean and beautifully scented from the moment you went through to the lobby/room.

I had hot water issues as in there wasn’t any and they did take awhile to fix issue.
I was told in the end to leave shower on for 10 minutes and the hot water should be through. What an awful amount of water to waste.
