The overall staff are nice and helpful. However, there was one customer service who is responsible to pick up phone call calling from the room was very rude to us. We have told them the staff during check-in has agreed to offer us a sofa-bed (which is a free upgrade) but the customer service on the phone kept on saying there are additional charge and asked us to confirm we will pay for it. We have explained to her the situation and what we have comminuted with front desk but she was unwilling to listen. Her attitude was rude and impolite which should not be happened at a five-star hotel. Please contact me and I can provide more information. Thanks

This is perhaps one of the oldest hotels I have stayed in and its the worst Shangri La. Dont know why the reviews are so good. The food was bland, the staff were slow, the room amenities were subpar and it was really expensive. Wont be staying here ever again.

To be honest the stay was quite nice, the hotel now has seen better days to be sure... the decor is dated and bed was i am sorry to say quite uncomfortable. This was slightly of made up for by the attitude of the staff, some real gems in this resort and should be valued. The QR code system for ordering is not working too well, sometimes it goes through some times not.
However money has to be spent to keep it relevant and up to date. We will not return until this has been done i am afraid.

Overall, the hotel is safe, and the downtown shopping was very convenient and the transportation in and around Singapore was easy; plenty of taxis and buses to take you to your destinies. However, the dining could have maybe better dining. The food was okay but a little expensive for what you ordered. However, the buffett was really plentiful and good selections.

sentosa island was a great place to enjoy outdoor activities!
the hotels pool and private beach was great too, with not too many people.
transportation was great, with free buses around the island, and a free shuttle bus to the nearest shopping centre.

The restaurant was just fantastic both for kids and the parents. The pool was also fun and kids really enjoyed. The clean up was awful, as we come back late in the afternoon, around 4pm, they didn’t finish the cleanup yet. The boy just thrown the garbage and..finished!

Service was excellent. Dinner buffet fantastic. Staff are prefessional. Welcoming and friendly. Will definitely come back again. Love this hotel.

For an upscale resort hotel the rooms are small and difficult to walk and maneuver inside the room.

Since it was soooo hot when we were staying, the pool had insufficient umbrellas to cover the recliners at/near pool.

The spa is too small with limited facilities.

Extremely good experience in Shangri-la Rasa. Even through no mono-rail nearby, hotel shuttle can pick to Vivo city. Environment and view are extremely nice also and kids friendly. Can spend whole day in hotel even not go out. I will choose this hotel again if I go sentosa
