This is a boutique hotel with an excellent location. We were able to easily walk to the big mall and also a nearby Bart station. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is quaint and charming, very unique and full of character with little extras that make it a comfortable stay. The staff was amazing. I am disabled and when my room presented issues for me, they quickly found me a room that would work so my stay was comfortable and didnt make it an issue. I was impressed with how nice the hotel was and the accommodating nature of the staff!

Stayed a few times prior. Really well kept up, clean and friendly staff. The TV’s use a Chromecast set up with is a total pain in the _____. Couldn’t get it to work this trip, not a huge deal but a headache if you want to watch something. Would be nice if the bar was open more hours but the desk staff offered a much welcome glass of Sangria. SF definitely has its issues with homeless but the area feels safe and welcoming. Will stay here again.

The Emblem has a cool hipster vibe about it with lots of SF poet references in art and literature. Its up the street from Union Square, which is not always great at night, but the hotel makes it worth it. I would stay there again.

We absolutely loved Hotel Emblem - fantastically helpful staff always going above and beyond, rooms that are charming and comfortable, everything was pristine, a fantastic bar. Its in a great area and the staff can make countless recommendations for restaurants and other local entertainment.
