Apartment separate from hotel. Two blocks in the rain! Room was very nice but inconvenient. Thirty eight steep steps to the room with no elevator!

We really enjoyed staying at The Inn at the Spanish Steps - it has a charming gentility and the staff are knowledgable and very helpful. The roof top bar and lounge is wonderful, especially if youve had a busy day in the hustle and bustle of Rome - its the best way to wind down with a drink before setting out for dinner. Breakfast there the next morning is a real treat!

The pictures they show you on the website is misleading. I was expecting to get a hotel but ended up in an overpriced airbnb. I don’t recommend it, the night we were there we had a leaking toilet from the room above us and the issue stayed unresolved. All the staff did was place a towel on the floor of the leaking site and no other word was said about it. This shouldn’t be advertised as a hotel, it wasn’t what I was expecting. When I asked about it I was surprised to be told in a rude manner, you get what you get. So if he right and you want to be treated poorly stay here, unless you want an actual hotel at a good price, I recommend to stay anywhere else.

Great location. Easy walk to many main attractions. The hotel itself is a bit of a disappointment. We had a room on the fourth floor with a two night stay. The second day of our stay the elevator was not working. That by itself wasnt a big deal, but we also had issues with the TV and basic maintenance items like the toilet seat not being attached properly.
