We arrived and the hotel could not find our booking, after waiting 20 minutes to check in. They then advised us to sit in the bar whilst they searched for it and they would come over and get us 45 minutes later no one had been over so we queued again for 10 minutes and they said they had found it. Given the long wait we asked for a late checkout and they said they could only give us that for a fee… not great service.

Had a good Stay at the Darling Harbour Sofitel in Sydney. The staff was all excellent. The room was clean and seemed well maintained. We only used the restaurant for Breakfast but it was clean, lively, and had an excellent assortment. Bell service and Concierge were excellent and helpful. My only complaint, and a minor one is the room lighting. Sometimes fancy switches and labels become more difficult to use than old fashioned on off switches. We were confused several times trying to figure out what switches control what lights.

This is a very nice lux hotel in a great location. We had no issues in our 3 night stay. The beds were super comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast buffet each morning. Highly recommend!

Clean and safe

Amazing service and stay at The Sofitel! I highly recommended this hotel for a special weekend stay or magical holiday.

Great location and immaculate hotel.
Didn’t like the knock on the door in the morning for “checking mini bar” from the staff although I had turned on “Do Not Disturb” button.

We’ve stayed there but unfortunately the room we got was not that good it had bed bugs

Amazing staff, breakfast and room.

It was a family getaway, the room was very comfortable with amazing views of the harbour. The hotel is well placed, very close to all the restaurants & entertainments. The service was impressive. All the staffs were very friendly, accommodating, efficient & professional. Overall experience was amazingly awesome. We would come back again.
