Very courteous staff who couldn’t do enough, the biggest tip, new yr eve, book a suite on top floor, we opened the curtains to a fantastic surprise, a perfect view of the London eye, Big Ben and the fireworks

Fab overnight stay before going to airport.. excellent location for Victoria literary minutes to walk so close to all main attractions if you enjoy walking..only down fall is the lifting of my luggage up 4 floors... but this does not affect my lovely stay.. thank you

Stayed with my friend. In a convenient area to get around hotel was very modern rooms vey clean and breakfast was great.

Very nice room, appeared recently refurbished. Clean, nice decor, plenty of towels etc. Very comfortable bed. Bathroom good. Big TV. All communal areas very attractive . Staff friendly, easy check in. Very good value for central London. Pay by phone or app parking bays nearby, free after 6.30pm . Short walk to Victoria station, theatres, Tate gallery etc. Thoroughly recommend The Portico. Will come again.

I went with my daugher to celebrate her 11:th birthday and visit The making of Harry Potter. The location of the hotel was perfect with walking distance to most of the other places we wanted to se as the Buckingham Palce, Hyde Park etc. The bustour to Harry Potter in Watford was only a couple of minutes from the hotel and also Victoria Station from where we came (from the airport with Gatwick express).
The staff was very kind (didnt wish her happy birthday though....)
The room was very clean! but SO small... we couldnt walk a round the beds we had to climb over them to get to the bathroom, also extremely small but very clean, great shower. So very clean, very friendly, perfect located but extremely small room.

Clean room, must have very thin walls though as could hear people talking all through the night. Easy check in experience.

Nice neighbourhood and good price to accomodate 3 people. Modern bathrooms and beds were comfortable. Staff was very helpful. :)

Property was perfect for our last night stay in London. The room we stayed in was nicely updated and clean. The fact that we had a queen 2 single beds was unique a good for a family with 2 kids who didnt want to share a bed. Hotel held luggage before check-in. About a 10 minute walk from Victoria Station with trains, tube, and buses in a quiet neighborhood. Was perfect for our purposes.

Room and bathroom were clean and updated. Shower was roomy and water pressure was great, the room wasn’t as cramped as some other London hotels were have stayed in but the bathroom it’s self is quite small. Breakfast was adequate.
