In the middle of Ximending area. Everything is a stone’s throw away. The building itself is a commercial space from levels 1-6 with hundred stores. Check the basement for good food Taiwanese selections

The room was very dirty. There was dirt/splatters on the walls, the sheets were stained with oil spots, the bathroom had mold all over the ceiling and wall, and the shower was very unclean. The worst part was the door did not lock all the way, so I slept with a chair in front of the door.

Id read some negative reviews prior to booking but ultimately the hotel suited my budget and the location I wanted. Firstly all the neg reviews are unfounded. Yes there is an arcade on the floor below, no you cant hear it from the rooms. The noise you can hear is when the adjacent room uses the shower at 2am. The rooms were cleaned everyday, they are large and comfortable. There is a weird step thing going into the rooms but I assume thats just from the fit out to turn it from a shopping centre floor into a hotel. Location is great, take the metro to Ximen, use exit 5 and the hotel is a 3 minute walk at the end of the pedestrian mall.

Internet and AC are okay

Old but clean

The hotel has a very good location, right in the main shopping area and about a 20-minute walk from Taipei Station. The downside of this central location is that the hotel occupies only one floor of a commercial building with shops, gaming venues, and cafés, allowing free public access to the hotel floor, which felt a bit concerning since the front desk does not monitor who comes and goes. There is no breakfast, although free coffee and water are available at reception, along with a useful luggage scale, but the room felt old and somewhat dirty, and the thin walls made it easy to hear neighbors.

Normally, I don’t write reviews, but this hotel was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had. The bed was so sunken that my husband and I could feel the springs poking our back every night. My husband and I suffered through 7 uncomfortable nights.

To make things worse, my husband experienced something eerie right before falling asleep, he felt as if someone grabbed his arm twice. This happened after we had already changed rooms due to another unsettling incident in our first room.

As if that wasn’t enough, the hotel started renovation work in the room next to ours early in the morning while we were still sleeping.

We paid money only to go through all of this. I can only recommend this place if you care solely about being close to shopping areas but honestly, I believe there are far better hotels nearby.

Location was one the best part of the hotel . Other than that under average hotel .

Its perfectly located in the middle of shopping and dining--so convenient! Also the air conditioner was easy to use. The staff was so helpful and friendly. We were able to check in early because the room was ready. There were umbrellas available in the rain. He also told us where we could store our luggage overnight at Main Station after leaving the hotel. However, the hotel appears to be just on one floor and it was very loud. Constantly doors closing and people talking. There are signs posted around the area asking people to be quiet after 10pm, but it was hard to sleep because it was so loud. Also the bathroom was weird. The door doesnt go all the way to the ceiling and it doesnt close a little bit (if its a little bit closed, it just opens by itself). Also the shower floor had some pieces that broke easily, which was annoying.

Staffs were helpful and friendly. Convenient, very near Metro ( MRT).
