Only place we stay in Honolulu

Check-in was slow at 11 PM, and no one was n line but us. We were tired and ready for bed, and didn’t have linens for the pullout. So, I had to go downstairs and schlep the bag upstairs…which only had a thin blanket so my daughter had to sleep in sweatshirt and pants. And the toilet clogged in the first use. After calling for a plunger, I took my shower last, and the tub wasn’t draining. After an ‘ok ’ breakfast, the line to get our car with the valet was a 20 minute wait. It’s painful to pay this much money and everything be ‘meh’.

Good Location

I Wasnt Able To Check Into The Property Until 4 pm. Resturant Food Was Extremely Expensive For The Quality Of The Breakfast Menu.

Check in was pretty poor and the most unwelcoming I have ever had. Both my husband and adult daughter commented on the stone faced, unsmiling service by Kim. We truly felt like an imposition. Beds were very comfortable, pillows very flat. Even though we were on the 9th floor, there was lots of street noise from below, both from cars and people. It is situated on a main road. Went for a few drinks at the bar, the bar lady was smiling and friendly - maybe she should be at the check in counter?

Basic breakfast. Fan in the restroom was noisy so I had to use earplugs to sleep.

Decent location however street noise was pretty loud esp when you face the main road . Reception was not very enthused to ck us in and did not go over any amenities . Valet also quite rude as we had 3 children and when we were unloading he drove our van up to the parkade and when we came down for our second load we asked what happened to our van and he said he drove it up , He asked us to go up the parkade and retrieve our stuff . It had rained and the parkade slope was wet and it was an accident waiting to happen and I told him we are paying $55 per night for valet and I was not going to walk up there . He relented and drove our van back down . 🙁. Not a great way to start a vacation .

The view was irrelevant to us. The gym equipment was excellent. We loved the staff. They were very pleasant and helpful. We did not like the bathroom - it was too small. Also the air conditioner leaked condensate into the rug particularly by the bed.

Very attentive staff. There is currently some maintenance being done.
