The hotel is impressive and has wonderful grounds along the beach .We were not there in the peak season so the main restaurant was open only 3 days and constrained times for other ones. This was the only thing otherwise it was excellent.

The room was excellent, but then again we paid a fortune for it. The issue I have is that we arrived on Jan 1st, and left on Jan 6th. On Jan 6th is when the Hotel was fully opened again, besides the swimming pool bar which was still closed. The inside pool doesnt allow children, and I have 2 kids who wanted to be there. There was no options for Room Service as everything was closed due to the time of year, which I would have thought would be peak period and being a Hotel, everything should be open. The hotel is far away from most things, so you had to walk a long way everywhere or get a Taxi.We booked in for the hotel restaurant and when we sat down, we realized there was no kids menu, and prices started at $125AUD per person, without drinks.Even the inside cafe/bar was charging $10AUD for a Pepsi Max.The country is ridiculously expensive, and for the $700AUD a night I paid, I cannot recommend at all.On the good side - all staff were very friendly and welcoming, and did their best to speak English. Read so many reviews about this hotel that does not aligns with my experience. This is still an amazing hotel for a relaxed getaway in August 2025.

First time in Noumea, so I don’t know what it’s like pre-2024 - but I’m glad I came and stayed here! Great hotel staff, excellent service, amazing and convenient location + the fact that there is a kitchenette made our trip so much better.

Thank you and highly recommended. Will definitely come back the next time.

Great location, friendly and helpful staff, beautiful views, walkable to island boats, literally on the beach for swimming and snorkelling. The aquatonic spa was incredible, a great feature of this iconic resort.
