I had a handicap room on the 2nd floor. The pillowcases had an old smell as so did the bed. The room my daughter stayed in was room 217. She had a street view which she stated that she didnt care as she was in the room only 2 days that week. The staff was extremely pleasant, food there was costly. It would have been great if there was a shuttle to LAX, but completely understood the traffic.

The hotel is gorgeous and in a prime location. The hidden fees rack up fast once you’re at the hotel and you’re not told about any of them. Just beware and budget for about $100 more per day/night. Also my room wasn’t cleaned until I called at 3:00pm.

Great location and facilities

The hotel is nice and clean and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was not very helpful or knowledgeable about Universal Studios which is a 5 minute walk from the hotel. Also, please make sure you are aware of all the taxes, fees and LA County/City fees that are charged including a charge for housekeeping whether your room is serviced or not. Lastly, if youre thinking about ordering room service be prepared for $14 French Fries that were marginal at best.

The beds were comfortable and the staff was very friendly and approachable. We had a great time.

Our room was updated and the room smelled like mold. Every time we turned off rhe AC the room smelled like wet carpet.

It was really clean, and the staff was friendly. My complaints are with the mattress. It was old and lumpy. That was the same issue with sofa bed, the mattress was also lumpy. You would think that at $400 per night you would get a better nught sleep.

Bed was uncomfortable, had a big hump in middle of bed.

We enjoyed our time at the Hilton Universal, the staff was great. The Hotel offered a shuttle to Universal Studios or you could walk a short 10 minute.
