Haka House was a fantastic place to stay. I was there for 10 days and enjoyed every day. The staff are incredible, especially Andreas, who went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I highly recommend Haka House, and will definitely stay there again when visiting Wellington again.

The room was clean, but did not smell fresh. I went and purchased an air freshener. Most of The channels on the TV weren’t working either. Other than that it was a good place to stay.

Great location, and you generally get what you pay for. There is no 24-hour service. The sink is quite small, and luggage storage after checkout costs $4 per room. There is no housekeeping service, and towel changes cost $2 each.

No ac and room was very hot..windows open but could not use curtains cause stop sir flow

Good

Room was clean

Self service check-in was quick and straightforward. Room was clean and tidy, hotel in a good location, within easy walk for most amenities.

Up front, I want to be clear that this is a hostel. We were pleased with a very clean room with comfortable bed. We hit a snag with check in that the late staff dealt with that night. Their response, and the follow up with us the following, goes a long way to the positivity of our stay.

Hostel, does the job

Stayed in a 4 person dorm with shared bathroom. Bathroom facilities were clean and well-maintained. Was luck to find accommodation at a busy time.
