We stayed at the Gateway Hotel for one night while attending a family celebration in Santa Monica, and it exceeded our expectations. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the staff was friendly and welcoming from check-in through departure.

The location was ideal—an easy drive to the beach and convenient to restaurants and other attractions, while still being in a quiet, safe area. Our room was comfortable, and we had a great night’s sleep.

We would gladly stay here again and highly recommend the Gateway Hotel to anyone looking for a quality hotel that offers excellent value in Santa Monica.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Gateway Hotel Santa Monica. The hotel appears to have been recently remodeled, and everything felt clean, modern, and well maintained. Our room was comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

The hotel offers a complimentary continental breakfast each morning, which was a nice bonus before heading out to explore the area. The location worked well for us and made it easy to get to Santa Monicas attractions, even though we didnt spend much time walking around the neighborhood.

Overall, it was a clean, comfortable, and affordable place to stay, and we would definitely consider staying here again on a future visit.

I have had a smartwatch for couple of months now and in this hotel I got 100 in sleep score for the first time, the beds and our room was 10/10. Really enjoyed to stay here!

I have stayed in this hotel at different times. It is a convenient spot in Santa Monica including the Pier, it is clean and had covered parking. They give a free continental breakfast. It does not have a pool but other than that I would recommend this hotel.

Most comfy beds when there for a medical procedure for a family member . You need rest in the bed helped.

Very clean. Helpful staff.

Fitness center is the size of 2 walk-in closets, I felt uncomfortable with 2 other people in there and left. the breakfast is unexpectedly basic.

Maybe worth the price.

Weve stayed at the Gateway Hotel at least 10 times. Its clean, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Room was clean, comfortable bed. Walkable (long walk) to Santa Monica Pier & promenade. Parking garage was easy to access, nice coffee shops nearby

Everything was great, my wife and I had a problem with leaving our identification back in Vegas and they still let us check in. Thanks again for the complamantery breakfast

Great place to stay. All necessary needs met. Over the last month I have stayed several times . Definitely plan to stay again in a couple of months. I highly recommend this location.
