Amazing hotel with fantastic location. Highly recommend!!

The bathroom ceiling is slanted bc of the space constraint. If I were a tall man, it would be very uncomfortable to take a shower. The cleaning was not done by the time I returned to hotel around 4:30
Pm. I requested the next day to get the room cleaned by 2:00
Pm. They did a good work.

great hotel in great location

We stayed at the strand just for one night ..the heat was unbearable so the air conditioning was much appreciated… the room although small was quiet and clean 153… unfortunately our stay didn’t include breakfast (although I thought it did ..)we didn’t want to look for anywhere else in the heat we payed the £40 ..although the breakfast was nice we feel it was priced to high but I guess this is what to expect in London .. double check you have breakfast in the price when you book this hotel.. I would recommend this hotel though staff were pleasant and helpful when needed ..

They did a great job updating this hotel. Great location with nice big rooms!

Fabulous hotel in the perfect location. Mary at reception was fabulous welcoming us and giving a room up grade.

Booked a deluxe king with a view. Unfortunately didnt have much of a view as this was partially obstructed. Would have been nice to have paid extra for a view & had a full view. Appat from that, the stay was good comfortable & clean.

My only complaint is that the superior single room I received was just barely different from a friends classic single and wildly smaller than another friends superior single. My entire group was sure there was a mix up in the rooms because mine was so much smaller but the staff said there wasnt. The room youre getting should be much more defined.

The single room was clean and spacious. The bathroom was large with nice toiletries and good towels. The restaurant/bar was large with reasonably priced food (for London prices!). There was even a plastic bottle to use with refill stations near the lifts. And the a/c worked. The downside was that the soundproofing was not great. I could easily hear the person in the room next door. The other side had a store room that staff accessed during the night and let the door slam shut, waking me up.

Such a great base, close to tube and could walk to so many attractions. Lovely hotel would definitely book again.
