Enjoy authentic Chinese at the luxurious Chinese restaurant KURAWAN serves cost effective service
The elegant concrete building is 5 stories high. It’s owned by just one Chinese restaurant ‘KURAWAN`. There is a gorgeous main dining with a big chandelier and a grand piano. They have music live at dinnertime only on weekends. The atmosphere is total fusion of Chinese and western.
And there are many private rooms we can spend time comfortably although with a baby and little kids. On the other hand, many business meetings are hold on weekdays. It's convenient restaurant for various situations.
The biggest reason I like this Chinese restaurant is that they serve great Shanghai crabs. Why don't you order the course of Shanghai crabs if you could luckily visit there in the season of them from September to December. I was so happy when I could eat them there since I sure have waited a long time since last season.
One more dish I highly recommend is 'Sweet and black sour pork'. At lunchtime you can eat it there more reasonable as set menu 1,250 yen. Be careful when you want to book your seat for lunch, you must order up to 1500 yen. It a good idea to add Chinese snacks 300 yen to the lunch set menu. They serve 2 Chinese dumplings before the main dish. Of course there are many other course menus. Whatever you select, every menu gives you a good cost performance. Because of it, it's popular for many workers around there and has a line at lunchtime. You might wait for little bit without a reservation on weekday. Don't worry about that, it's not so long time.
The reservation is accepted by phone in English.
Don’t forget to eat Chinese dessert at the end of your lunch and dinner because they have a great patisserie. Especially I like their Annin-Dofu that is cubes of apricot jelly and fruit floating in syrup.
